I tried this pick up out last night in Stavanger. I was a little scepticle at first… when I have used other pick ups with similar positioning to this I have found the sound a little trebley. But wow, this was the fullest, most detailed sound I have ever experienced from any pick up, I want one!
However, the price is equally impressive. I may have to wait.

My first visit to Stavanger was a real treat. The bass they provided was a work of art, (thanks Tom), the audience was enthusistic, the food was michelin star quality, I wanted for nothing. Perhaps I should not have stayed up so late drinking with the other musicians, but it was so much fun. 20 mins sleep, then off to the airport. Sweden tomorrow, then New York on monday.

Live at Nose Wise, Islands Brygge. This was a fun little gig!

We are in the process of booking more concerts, in the meantime, here is some more footage from our last appearance

Here is a little clip from ‘the big gig’ last month

Our 5 day, 6 concert tour with Cynthia Sayer and Bria Skonberg could not have gone better! Every gig was special in

it’s own way, and they all went well with hundreds of satisfied Paul Harrison fans all over Denmark!
It’s always a gamble putting together a tour with no rehearsal, and without having met all of the musicians, but Paul and Betina Harrison really pulled this off well and I was proud to be a part of it. The zenith of the tour being the gig in Portalen, Greve when Nikklas Carlsson came to join the party, bringing the total of nationalities represented to 5 with a superb world class 8 piece band.

Reader(s) may remember that I reviewed Wok Away some months ago. They forgot to put any flavouring or ingredients in with the noodles…. Well, it may have escaped your notice that they kindly offered a free meal as compensation. I didn’t take them up on that fair and reasonable offer – the opportunity never arose.
However I did try their food again last night…… A vast improvement! The food was quickly prepared and really very tasty. Unfortunately they forgot to include the Japanese rice included in the price of the dish.
So, their concept is great, their ingredients are good enough, but they still haven’t got their eye on the ball when it coes to service!
